Second annual meeting of EULARINET

CONICYT participated in the second annual meeting of the EULARINET project (European Union - Latin American Research Innovation NETworks), which was held in Montevideo from the 15th to the 18th of March 2010. EULARINET is implemented through a consortium with 19 partners from both regions. CONICYT is part of the consortium and participated actively in various aspects of the implementation of the project. Annually, the consortium meets to revise past activities and determine future actions.




EULARINET initiated in 2008 and has a duration of four years. Its main aim is to promote the dialogue in science and technology between the European Union and its member states, and the Latin American countries. This includes promote the participation of Latin American researchers in the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), celebrate bi-regional discussion fora and jointly develop work programmes under FP7 in S&T areas which are of mutual interest.



 

About CHIEP

The CHIEP-II (Chilean Europe Platform) project is financed by the European Union -through its Seventh Framework Programme (FP7)-  and the National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research of the Chilean Government (CONICYT). The purpose of this project is to maximize cooperation in science, technology and innovation between the European Community and Chile.
