Why Socio-Economic Science and the Humanities?

Social sciences and humanities, by their nature, enable us to understand the way in which societies are organized and governed and how they evolve and change. They also provide us the opportunity of better understanding human and social behavior and of identifying the factors which contribute to the social, economic, political and cultural changes.
